The Aesthetics of Dominance

I just wrote my last article on the measured political strategies appropriate at this moment. But this is also a season for fiery comeuppance after a resounding historic victory!
Much of society is run at a gut and emotional level, just as is the human brain itself.  The cerebral cortex we associate with rational thought is a pitiful addon tacked on as an afterthought.

Societies give behavioral cues through aesthetics.  It’s no mistake that most buildings of governance across time and place are designed to dwarf the individual gazing upon them, whether a pyramid, a castle, secret police HQ, or a government agency, they make an argument through their forms for overpowering legitimacy.

Since ancient times, much imagery is displays of dominance, the towering ruler over other groups of outsiders.  As with dogs, the alpha is large, confident and on top and the subordinate always hunched, crouched and beneath.

It’s clear Ancient Egyptians intuitively understood intuitively many truths of human nature that our “modern” society has chosen to forget.

And so are Indians to this day.

One of the most important motifs in all civilization across thousands of years is to show triumph in battle over a despairing and demoralized enemy.  It’s all about conveying the feeling a modern day sports fan gets when his team soars to triumph.  Except for pre-modern people it was in real life, not a game.

The 60s Cultural Revolution leadership subtly kept up the tradition.  Absolutely love those forced smiles.  May as well all be baring teeth and snarling!

Group of diverse business colleagues enjoying success

After almost 60 years of stultifying oppression it’s now up to us to choose the story of humanity!

We must project overwhelming dominance in every aspect of culture.  For every sitcom and ad that portrayed the husband as a blithering idiot puppet of his commensense competent wife, we must change the story to masculine leadership.  The actors and folk(pop) musicians must be demoted to minstrel tramps.  That’s one thing both Cromwell and the Taliban got right.

We must begin the “march through institutions” and hunt down the high priesthood of intellectuals, journalists, professors who betrayed the supreme, sacred trust given them by society in the most base, duplicitous, and wicked manner imaginable.

Those who betrayed their culture and their ancestors must be rounded up, publicly humiliated in every possible way and then poetically driven into the sea.  After being made to understand the essence of their fall and forced to watch their former lives incinerated before their eyes, they must be driven by ranks of ornately armored cataphracts into the waves with loud speakers projecting the applause of hundreds of millions.  The last sound they ever hear as they are driven beneath the wine-dark waves by steel shod hooves is the joy of their enemies.  Such is divine justice.

Somewhere in the nation is designated a Tarpeiian rock from which traitors are thrown to join their dishonored predecessors in a heap of bones ceremonially defiled with the contemptuous excrement of the righteous.  After living my whole life in an age of total decadence I can’t summon in myself the slightest spark of magnanimity or pity.

“The actors and folk(pop) musicians must be demoted to minstrel tramps.”

I’ve been contemplating the CQ (Celebrity Question) as of late, and am not sure of the best way to solve it, but I have a couple of ideas.

Musicians are already in the process of being demoted to their prior position, ironically via cheap recording and distribution technology. In the 70s and 80s, recording technology and distribution was expensive, meaning that any band that wished to be heard was forced to seek a contract from a major music studio. The select few that succeeded were pushed as “giants” by said labels – Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Foreigner, Journey, Rush, Queen, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Bruce Springsteen, etc. They received mass radio play and received wide enough recognition to fill up basketball arenas or even football stadiums. No rock or metal band that has debuted since the year 2000 can fill up anything larger than a small club. A band full of semi-employed or unemployed members can now afford to record an album by themselves, before uploading it to Bandcamp. However, because the market is so saturated with artists and subgenres of subgenres, it has also become fragmented, meaning no artist will achieve celebrity status.

The only exception to this are bubblegum pop stars, like Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. However, I think their music has a short shelf-life, and I don’t anticipate them drawing out their careers as long as the likes of Bruce Springsteen. Once the Rolling Stones and Springsteen permanently retire, I don’t foresee anybody replacing them. If AC/DC were to form today, they’d be confined to playing local Australian clubs forever – maybe if they’re lucky, they’d do one European tour while barely even breaking even.

Celebrities in the television and movie industry are more difficult to eliminate, namely because the production costs remain quite high.

I was hoping that video games would be a solution to this problem by replacing movies/television as the go-to form of entertainment for young males. I think this has happened to some degree, but major studios in the gaming industry have also been co-opted by progs.

Generation Z apparently has no interest in either television or movies, and mainly watch the channels of narcissistic YouTube personalities. As vapid as these channels are, the upside is that YouTube is subject to the same market fragmentation as as the music industry is due to low production costs.

I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts regarding further potential solutions to this problem.

This is a problem? I see fragmentation of the market and loss of income from the gatekeepers as a great thing.

I do believe that a lot of production work went into musicians and movies that will be lost. There will be some big productions but it will mostly come from super dedicated individuals using advanced technology to lower the cost.

I haven’t been to the movies in a long, long time. I know this may seem silly to some here but it was the popcorn and drink prices that stopped me. I used to go the movies frequently until one day they told me popcorn and a drink was $10 and I said,”You’ll get it this time but I won’t be back” and I wasn’t. I went once and snuck in a drink but dammit I feel foolish sneaking in drinks it’s stupid and I like popcorn and a drink so I just stopped going. Now I just download with magnet files from I2P.

You want to bring the diva celebrity down to the level of a common whore in a brothel? Regulate and tax the fuck out of that industry. Same goes for sports stars.

  3. UlricKerensky November 16, 2016 at 1:42 am

Did not the Romans ban the protections of citizenship from actors?

I do see a problem. In the time of plays, no one got confused that what they were watching was just a show. Now days, people watching a historical drama will naturally associate the achievements that the frame is honoring with the actors chosen for such a task, which in itself is an honor.

The best idea I can think of there from requiring actors to have honorable service to society before being allowed such powerful roles. It would eliminate teen movies, which might reduce social atomization as well.

    • Zerfall der Ordnung November 16, 2016 at 3:14 am

Both you and Craig have interesting ideas on measures to take, IF our side were actually in power, which it isn’t – Trump’s victory notwithstanding. I was asking what could be done NOW from where we currently sit 🙂

      • UlricKerensky November 16, 2016 at 1:42 pm

        1. Force all cable carriers to make all channels (except perhaps one or two of social interest, such as a local public affairs channel) to go a la carte pricing. Each channel will only get people willing to pay for that channel. That might be more of a state public utility issue, but Federal law already preempts the local and state governments on some cable related issues.

        2. Remove the tax deduction for contributions to collegiate sports. Enforce, by way of 3rd party reporting, the existing rule about deducting the costs of skyboxes, both professional and collegiate, and remove all together the partial deduction for collegiate sports funding. Subject tax-indifferent entities to excise (penalty) taxes for spending on skyboxes, professional and collegiate sports, and entertainment events with more than 1,000 people. Require separate of collegiate sports from the exiting tax-indifferent entities for income tax purposes, and to show people how much money they are spending on them.

The exceptions for scholastic sports is because that’s more of a state funding issue, and the 1,000 people events is because those events aren’t where the issues are coming from.

        3. Hit the local and state governments with the arbitrage interest rules, or an excise tax, on funding of professional and collegiate sports. To some extent, this is already on the books, but expand and enforce it.

You all had some great ideas for a theoretical day when we’d be in charge. It all fits with the concept I’ve written about before that society must be governed to a greater end purpose.
Of course, we are nowhere near any reality like that so for now it remains to work through the existing system with its leaders as best we can. Trump would appear to be a huge 1st step in the right direction. The first priority for now remains to try to win the war now that we’ve won a major battle against those who would destroy us if they ever got the chance.

Zerfall der Ordnung is asking what we can do now. I had an idea the other day.

Help me start a new meme.

The Dindus say racism. I say Ni!
The Dindus say White privilege. I say Ni!
The Dindus say White supremacy. I say Ni!
The Jews say Anti-Semitism. I say Ni!

    The Knights who say Ni!

When ever someone calls a White racist or anti-Semite all the Whites around them should start saying Ni! Over and over. It will annoy them quite possibly beyond their central nervous system to handle.

The only way to end this constant bleating of racism, White Supremacy and White privilege is to make fun of them when ever they say it. They’ve really driven it into the ground like chicken little and I believe Ni! could be pulled off now.

    • Sam J. November 16, 2016 at 5:05 am

I got this idea from Bob Whitaker’s mantra,”Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white” which is fabulous but a simple Ni!, Ni!, Ni! seems so much more contemptuous and dismissive. I think it would drive them batty.

In reply to the host’s reply on this issue.

One of the better blows to strike at our foes is to point out they have lost the mandate of heaven, or that they never had it in the first place. Point out how they rely on us for their living.

Deny them sustenance as every turn. Each little but of resources we deny them, be it less donations to the corrupt universities, each dropped cable line, every property tax bill reduced, forces the other side closer to their own intercene bloodletting.

At each level of government there are limited resources. Each constituency that we support can cut a little bit of the other sides pot of money.

    • Giovanni Dannato November 18, 2016 at 1:31 am

The single blow, the killing blow we need to focus on completely right now is to ensure they can’t get back into power again. Voter ID laws are probably the lowest hanging fruit within the system we have right now.
It seems like local/state governments are easy wins, because it just so happens old white people are one of the most civic-minded demographics. If the dominance can reach 2/3rds, that could open the possibility of constitutional amendments.
Having a friendly federal gov will allow state governments much more latitude to passive aggressively sabotage the lot of hostile tribes while improving their own.
But the real coups de grace will be if a Trumpian administration has all 3 branches under control with 60 senate votes, enough to override filibusters. Then the system can set itself up with mechanisms that will prevent hostile takeovers indefinitely. From that time on, we are free to address other issues in detail. It’s too bad we are in an urgent survival situation and even this is infinitely better than where we were at just one week ago.
Before we can become an oligarchy of merit, we first have to go back to being a republic and gradually limit franchise from there.

      • Sam J. November 19, 2016 at 7:50 pm

“…Then the system can set itself up with mechanisms that will prevent hostile takeovers indefinitely…”

Yes. Except. These fellows are almost as crooked as the group kicked out. They’ll certainly stop at nothing to financially ruin us.

The wealthy seem to be cutting off their nose to spite their face. It’s not the wealth that bothers me it the manipulation of the laws to crush everyone else. The monopolization of everything and constant rent seeking. If they succeed in destroying the middle class they cut cut their actual wealth by a large amount. They don’t seem to care.

One simple example. A lady in Florida built herself a tiny house off the grid. Solar power, pumped well and septic. An article was written on her and the State comes in and declares her house uninhabitable because it’s not hooked to the grid and because she doesn’t pay fees to the power company. They have gained nothing by this and this Women no longer has a home.

With the lowering of pay in the West we desperately need housing like this so that people don’t pay everything they have just to have a roof over their heads. It’s pro growth to free up money elsewhere. A lot of people who could fend for themselves with a small house off grid will be forced into the arms of the State, and the cost of all of us, to pay for them somewhere to live.

While I am optimistic about the new management, can’t forget Trump has collected rents his whole life. We can expect the state to cling jealously to the things it sees as guaranteeing its power. Our interests coincide well with Trump right now, but his ultimate goal is to grow power and prestige for himself, family, and friends. I could imagine that in a future where he feels secure, he might be as dangerous to a free internet as the Hillary/SJW alliance was. Could never understand those who called him a moron. Dunning-Kruger much? It was clear to me early in the primaries that he’s brilliant. He understands he rose to power aided by the internet and would have foresight to deny that path to would-be rivals.
