Too Busy To Get Your Toddler A Plate? Never Fear

Now the corporate mush we’re supposed to wean kids on comes complete with a “self-feed tray.”

Consumerism marches on…

Would people even know what to feed their babies and toddlers if these corporations suddenly went away?
Surely if cats can only eat cat food, babies can only eat food explicitly labeled as baby food, right? Surely they’d otherwise perish.

The whole thing makes me think of Brawndo’s marketing triumph over “water from the toilet” or Taco Bell’s ultimate victory in the Franchise Wars.

A final thought here: Why don’t people understand that the perceived necessity of buying all the products labeled “baby” is part of the reason why they can’t ever seem to afford to have children until it’s too late while simpler folk with far less income thrive?

Remember, if you feed you child food that isn’t meant for “babys”, it’s child-abuse.

“simpler folk with far less income thrive?”

Work harder. Millions on welfare are depending on you.
