"Pay my troops no mind; they're just on a fact-finding mission."

Is Russia Today Propaganda?

Of course it is.

It’s owned by the Russian government: it dispenses the views of the Kremlin.

Nevertheless, like many in America I’ve enjoyed their gleeful coverage of all the social problems the local media glibly ignores and live footage of demonstrations around the world.

Though RT is undoubtedly a Russian psychological warfare campaign, I nevertheless find significant value(and amusement) in their focus on cultural sore spots.

Still, ‘alternate’ communities on the internet will eventually need their own media sources to satisfy their drastically underserved demographic:
-so we do not have to rely on Russia, Qatar, or the UK for information that’s not entirely irrelevant.
-so we do not become mere puppets of distant despots even worse than our own.
